Here are three unforgettable Tennessee festivals that showcase food, summer joy and living history — experiences worth planning a trip around.

National Banana Pudding Festival — October 3–4, 2026

Delicious, fun, and full of heart, the National Banana Pudding Festival started in 2010 as a way to help local nonprofits and has grown into one of Tennessee’s most beloved autumn events.

What Makes It Great:

Kingsport Fun Fest — July 17–25, 2026

Location: Kingsport, Tennessee • funfest.net

Summer in Tennessee wouldn’t be complete without Kingsport Fun Fest. Held each July, this nine-day celebration spans the city with a mix of concerts, races, parades, sports events, block parties and more.
